Our zero-tolerance list

The following behaviors result in immediate permanent bans with no appeal:

  • Selling counterfeit or replica items claimed as authentic
  • Attempting to move transactions off-platform to avoid escrow
  • Sending items that don't match the listing (wrong item, wrong condition)
  • Using stolen photos from other sellers or brand websites
  • Harassing, threatening, or discriminatory behavior in messages
  • Creating multiple accounts to manipulate reviews or avoid bans
  • Any form of fraud, stolen goods, or illegal items

How to report someone

If you encounter any of the above behaviors, or anything else that feels wrong:

  1. Go to the user's profile or listing
  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right
  3. Select "Report"
  4. Pick a reason and add any context

Reports are reviewed by our trust & safety team within 12 hours. Valid reports get immediate action. You can also email safety@clinkit.co directly for urgent issues.

Staying safe yourself

  • Never leave the platform. If a seller asks you to pay via bank transfer or WhatsApp, it's a scam. Report them.
  • Check the verification badge. Verified sellers have a ✓ next to their name. Unverified sellers can still use Clinkit but exercise more caution.
  • Read reviews. Check the seller's last 10 reviews before buying. Look for patterns.
  • Inspect on arrival. When a package arrives, open it and check the item before tapping "Confirm delivery". You have 72 hours to open a dispute.
  • Keep communication on-platform. All Clinkit messages are logged. If you move to WhatsApp, we can't help you if something goes wrong.
